Easy, Affordable Fall Decor
I should be banned from Hobby Lobby from August-December. Even though they get me (every time!) I never spend more than $100 and each trip gets me through the season(s). I’m all about DIY, affordable and multi-purpose/use! This quick craft is currently my dining room centerpiece but you could use this on your coffee table, shelves, anywhere! Everything that I purchased here was 40% off! If you don’t already know the Hobby Lobby hack, if it’s not currently on sale, it will be the next week! They also always have an online coupon for 40% off one full price item (if you can’t wait). Never pay full price!
You’ll need:
- Two pieces from the floral section; one looking like from a near a pond and the other resembling a piece of wheat.
- A bag of their fall potpourri- I found this on one of their fall displays. I’m sure this is in multiple spots throughout the store.
- A hemp pumpkin- I found this on one of their fall displays. I’m sure this is in multiple spots throughout the store.
- A wooden crate/basket- I found this on one of their fall displays. I’m sure this is in multiple spots throughout the store.
Start by arranging the potpourri in the wooden crate to your liking. I love that no only is this adorable fall pieces but it will make your space smell amazing! I put some of the bigger pieces at the bottom and make sure my colorful ones were spread out at the top. Tie the orange hemp bow from the package on one side of the wooden crate. Take your two fall floral pieces and bend the stems off. Put both of them together and place at the back of the crate, tucking downward to the bottom of the crate. Place your piece where you wish and use some of the extra potpourri ( I decided on one big pine cone) to put right in front. Place your hemp pumpkin to the front and to one side. You’ll notice I added some faux leaves (found these at the dollar store but you can get them at Hobby Lobby as well). That’s it! All whatever you wish to complete your look. If the potpourri smell starts to fade, shake your basket or exchange some of your extra pieces from the bag out. Happy Fall Ya’ll!!!
