Finding My Wedding Dress with Marie & Marie Bridal

A day I’ve thought about since I was a little girl happened this weekend. You watch the movies, see your friends and family have “their moment” but now it was finally my turn! I can honestly say it was everything I hoped for and then some! I had the most amazing experience with Marie and Marie Bridal! They truly made me feel like a princess and that it was all about me at my appointment! I was heading into this appointment with some sage advice from my cousin, Mariya! This is advice I would give to any bride! “Go in there with an open mind, willing to try on ANY style dress!” She went on to say that the style dress she ended up with was NOT what she would’ve ever thought she would pick!

I started off the day with another bridal shop appointment in the morning. After that, my group and I went to lunch. My next appointment was with Marie and Marie Bridal. From the second I walked in, I felt so special and exactly how I wanted to feel on this day! Getting to know me more, M & M B. asked me about my budget, my style and what I thought I’d want in a dress. My consultant, Alicia walked along beside me as we started glancing at stunning dress after stunning dress. She had another consultant grabbing “try-on” dresses so she could be with me the entire time! There were a few that I wasn’t going to take a second glance at and Alicia said, “When in Rome, Erica! Let’s just try them on so you can say you tried that style on!” That right there showed me the confidence and expertise of my consultant.

We were then escorted into a private room that had a sectioned off space with a curtain and riser for the bride to try on gowns and another section of elegant furniture for the group to relax and wait for the bride to appear. We were immediately asked what we need and if we would like mimosas or champagne (that’s exactly what I pictured this day would entail for my viewers!) Shortly after, a tray of the cutest cupcakes appeared for the group to nibble on. I’m not kidding when I say this was ULTIMATE wedding dress shopping experience! Little did I know that with every dress, my consultant was studying my reactions and expressions before I even showed my group. This was extremely helpful when we found, THE ONE! I will be completely honest when I say it was down to two finalists, of which I tried both on again. After some deliberation, talking through pros and cons and help from my group, I knew without a doubt that I had found THE ONE at Marie & Marie Bridal! And, what do you know, the dress I ended up with was a style I NEVER THOUGHT I would get! I didn’t even try this style on at the first appointment because I was never given one to try and didn’t think I would like it.

I got the exclusive right to show you my front-runners from my wedding appointment! Honestly, I could probably try them all on again and fall in love with any of them and be proud to wear them on my wedding day! Of course, I will not be showing my wedding dress until the day of our wedding.
