Wedding Update 1/2/19

WE OFFICIALLY HAVE A DATE: 09-07-19!!!!!
It feels so good to officially have a date! It has not been easy getting to this point though. There’s so many different vendors that all have to be available at that one date! Having said that, we still need to officially decide on a church (we have our church’s pastor we’ll use) and flower vendor.
All of my bridesmaids were given their “I can’t say ‘I Do’ without you” gifts. I chose this package from Etsy and they were a huge hit with my girls! It’s nice that they are personalized and all come at the same time! I’ve chosen my wedding colors and where to get our bridesmaids dresses. The two weddings I’ve been in, we’ve used this company and we’ve had success both times. Granted, there will be some tailoring to be done, but that’s to be expected.
This weekend we are going wedding dress shopping! This day I’ve always thought about what this would be like! You watch the shows and you see your friends and family have this moment, but I cannot believe it’s going to be my moment now! Wow! Everyone keeps asking me what I want for a dress and I honestly have no idea! However, I feel like I know what I DON’T WANT! I do not care for strapless, halter, ballgown, sheath…. that’s just my personal preference! Anyone who chooses those will look absolutely gorgeous, I just know me and my style and those will not make my cut. I’m excited to go in with an open mind and hope that my consultant has some ideas and styles she thinks will look good on me! Our first appointment is with Ellie Stone and our second appoint (after a lady-lunch) is at Marie and Marie.
