Hi, there! Welcome to my blog! My name is Erica and I’m so excited you’re here!

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, I’ve been obsessed with fashion since I could dress myself. I was one of those kids that dressed up every day for school, no sweatpants here! My first taste of real fashion was my first retail job at 15. Working in fashion and living it through my everyday outfits, I noticed that everyone would always ask me about my outfits! I’d get requests to have me shop for them and ask for fashion advice.

My passion just kept growing to the point where I knew this what I wanted to further my education in. I went on to get my bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising from South Dakota State University, also minoring in business. After completing an internship and study trip, I knew that this was my calling, but I was not sure where to go with it. After doing some corporate buying and retail management, I was grateful for the experiences but needed more.

After years and many individuals telling me to start a blog, I finally did. Best Dressed Blonde was born… an everyday fashion, clean beauty and lifestyle brand. This was the perfect way to express and share my passion in a platform that made sense! My experience with my careers and education has given me knowledge on how to style for body types, garment styles, colors and textiles. My blog focuses on good sales, try-on’s, make-up tutorials and everyday lifestyle!
